Sometimes we do hands-on projects such as upgrading the playground and creating a food circle at the NISE Early Intervention Centre. There are times we need support during the markets where we sell the items that were donated. If you would like to be part of our volunteer's pool, please email us at info@umbrella-initiatives.com and we will get back to you ASAP! 

If you have items that you would like to donate, but you do not know where and how to deliver them, we will be more than happy to receive them, organize them, and assign them to different organizations. For example, the sportswear will be going to Operi and Sydney Child Foundation, clothes in excellent condition will go to Back to School Namibia for their second-hand market fundraiser, etc. Chat with us if you want to know more.  

We also raise funds for all the projects we support by selling items that donors have brought to us such as baby cots, floating supports, baby carriers, coffee machines, etc. 

If you have friends who are moving, or if you hear about a fundraiser of ours, please share the info! There is nothing more powerful than a referral from a friend or someone you trust!  

With cash donations, we can tailor our support to specific projects such as the sanitary packs for kids at Central Hospital or the shade net for the Early Intervention Centre. We are very happy to receive brand-less donations from companies. If you have a company that believes in what we do and wants to support us, we welcome your donation brandless. All the funds will go directly to people in need, we do not have any running costs as we are all 100% volunteers! We look forward to talking to you!
