Umbrella Initiatives
Umbrella Initiatives
From People To People
I am Alicia Dipierri, an Argentinian residing in Namibia since 2019. Throughout my time here, my passion for helping others has led me to actively contribute to various social projects and volunteer for numerous organizations. My journey began with small initiatives, such as engaging with children on the streets, accompanying them to hospitals, and collecting toys for orphanages. As these projects gradually expanded, I observed a growing interest from friends who wanted to join and support these endeavors.
Recognizing the need for a more organized approach as the projects evolved, the idea of Umbrella Initiatives was conceived. This initiative aims to streamline and account for all the collaborative efforts made by volunteers, donors, and myself. It serves as a central hub where our collective contributions and dedication come together to make a positive impact in the community.
Our team is both expansive and diverse, encompassing volunteers, donors, and beneficiaries, all integral parts of Umbrella Initiatives. The success of this project hinges on the collaborative efforts of each individual involved. It is through our collective work that this initiative thrives. Together we can do a lot for others!
Our amazing volunteers help in different ways, using their special skills and abilities. Some tackle tough tasks, others share our message with more people, and some help with packing and distributing. If you support our mission and have some time to spare, we'd love for you to join us in making a positive impact!
